Tv shelf from scratch (still in progress)

When we were about to move to a new place, I decided to try and forfill my dream of a furniture piece with carved wood design. So I started building a tv shelf from scratch - from pine panels I bought at Home Depot. Lucky for me, it's open during the pandemic...

It's still in the progress. For now, I assembled the body and just started carving the test board - to polish my carving skills, feel how this particular wood behaves and see if I like the pattern.

Exiting stuff! For now I'm really in love with the stain color and piece's shape. Stay tuned for updates 😅
